The first stage was to fit the backplate adaptor to the shell. The Instructions from V4tec were brief, but did the job, and it is not too hard as can be seen from the following pictures.
 
I think the quality of the metalwork on the V4tec parts is excellent, they seem well made and all fitted without any brute force!

Nuts bolts and all tools required are supplied. I think that the bag of bits is generic as there were a lot more bolts than required

Firstly mount the side parts loosely at the bottom

Next fit the top bracket, the screws go straight into threaded holes on the side bracket
